Diana Ward is a Melbourne based photographer specialising in fine art portraits. A self taught artist, Diana started out by photographing miniatures in handmade dioramas before upscaling onto humans.
Drawing on a background in digital design, Diana’s work plays with colour and form, using chromatic ambience to evoke an emotional response. With a life long love of art history and design, Diana’s work often references aesthetic movements that have shaped our past.
Her work is often crafted from the ground up, with many of the elements in the photos hand painted and crafted bespoke for the image.
